Camden Yards was no match for the Twins on Saturday as they launched an unbelievable 11 home runs in a doubleheader sweep of the Baltimore Orioles, including a franchise record-tying eight home runs in Game 2 of the double dip.
Minnesota powered three balls over the ball in a 6-5 win in the first game, and then went berserk with eight more homers in a 16-7 win in the second game of the day.

Rosario hit three homers on the day while Cruz, Cron, Garver and Schoop each homered twice.
The 1963 Twins hit eight homers in a game on Aug. 29, 1963, so Saturday’s feat equaled a mark that was set 56 years ago.
Byron Buxton, with two outs in the ninth, hit a ball off the top of the wall in left that nearly tied the Twins’ doubleheader record of 12 homers, set on that same day in 1963 against the Washington Senators.
The MLB record for homers by a team in one game is nine, set by the 1999 Cincinnati Reds.
