A couple of quick injury updates for Twins outfielder Josh Willingham and pitcher Vance Worley.
According to the Pioneer Press, Willingham hopes to resume “baseball activities” in August. Worley, along with left-hander Pedro Hernandez, is headed to Fort Myers to begin a rehab assignment.
Shoulder inflammation put Worley on the seven-day disabled list at Triple-A Rochester on Thursday.
Willingham was placed on the disabled list in early July because of a torn meniscus in his left knee. He underwent surgery and was expected to miss 4-6 weeks.
