The Minnesota Twins will try to build some momentum Friday night as they continue their four-game series against the Boston Red Sox.
Samuel Deduno dominated the Red Sox during Thursday night’s opener allowing only two hits for the Twins first shutout victory at Fenway Park in 16 years.
Minnesota will turn to Brian Duensing as the Twins go for their first back-to-back victories in Boston in nearly six years.
The Red Sox will counter with left-hander Felix Doubront.
Meanwhile, David Ortiz won’t likely play against the Minnesota ball club this weekend. Ortiz continues to recover after he injured his heel while running around second base on July 16.
