The Twins wrapped up Day 2 of the MLB Draft, selecting eight players; five of them being pitchers. The team’s first selection of the day was Blayne Enlow at the No. 76 pick.
Enlow was considered a top-30 prospect who dangles a filthy breaking ball. Three of the pitchers drafted on Tuesday are also lefties. Here’s who they selected.
- RHP Blayne Enlow, St. Amant (Louisiana) High School,
- LHP Charlie Carnes, Clemson University
- 3B Andrew Bechtold, Chipola College
- SS Ricardo De La Torre, Puerto Rico Baseball Academy
- LHP Ryley Widell, Central Arizona College
- LHP Bryan Sammons Western Carolina University
- OF Mark Contreas, UC Riverside
