Game 2 between the Twins and Blue Jays begins at 3:38 p.m. Wednesday in Minneapolis and Minnesota is running it back with the same starting lineup as it had in their 3-1 victory in Game 1 on Tuesday.
- 2B Eddy Julien, L
- 3B Jorge Polanco, S
- DH Royce Lewis, R
- RF Max Kepler, L
- 1B Alex Kirilloff, L
- SS Carlos Correa, R
- LF Matt Wallner, L
- C Ryan Jeffers, R
- CF Michael A. Taylor, R
The only different in Game 2 from Game 1 is that Wallner and Jeffers have flipped in the batting order, with Wallner now hitting seventh instead of eighth.
Sonny Gray is starting on the mound for Minnesota and he’ll be opposed by former Twins right-hander Jose Berrios, who has allowed just 10 hits in 62 at-bats (.161 batting average) against players on the current Twins roster.
Correa has four of those hits, Christian Vazquez, who isn’t starting, has two hits lifetime off Berrios while Willi Castro (not starting), Polanco, Taylor and Wallner each have one hit against Berrios.
Here’s how the Blue Jays will attack the Twins…
