Baseball’s All-Star Game is tonight from Citi Field in New York City, with Twins Glen Perkins and Joe Mauer on the American League roster.
You might have to forgive Mauer, however, if his thoughts aren’t entirely on the game.
According to the Pioneer Press, his pregnant wife, Maddie, is on mandatory bed rest. She’s due to deliver twins on Aug. 31.
According to Mauer: “We have to make sure everything is OK with the little ones coming.”
