In their first preseason game of the 2016 season, the Minnesota Vikings picked up a 17-16 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Friday night.
Despite playing in just two series, quarterback Teddy Bridgewater had a solid game which included a 49-yard strike to Charles Johnson for a touchdown.

Most of the second and third team took over for the Vikings from there on out. Rookie first-round pick Laquon Treadwell had a solid NFL debut, catching 4 passes for 41 yards.
Back up quarterbacks Joel Stave and Shaun Hill also saw action tonight. Stave converted 8-13 passes for 76 yards and one interception while Hill was 6-7 for 52 yards.
The Vikings defense played poorly in the 1st half with Cincinnati converting 7-10 third down opportunities. Minnesota’s revamped offensive line also had a tough game too with all 3 quarterbacks receiving a fair amount of pressure.
Up next for the Vikings is the Seattle Seahawks next Thursday in Seattle.
