The Minnesota Timberwolves closed out the first half of the NBA season with a hard-fought 117-112 victory over the Toronto Raptors Wednesday night at Target Center.

Karl-Anthony Towns finished with another double-double scoring a career high 35 points and 11 rebounds, including this energizing third quarter dunk.

The double-double broke the Wolves record for most double-doubles in a season by a rookie.
Not to be outdone, Andrew Wiggins did plenty of damage himself. Wiggins finished the night with 26 points, including 13 in the fourth quarter alone.
2. Wolves go on a second half run
The Wolves, who trailed by as many as 18 at one point during the first half turned the momentum around early in the second half. A big run allowed the Wolves to close the gap and pull even with Toronto at 78.

Minnesota used the momentum of tying the game to build a lead in the fourth.
3. Wolves get the job done at the charity stripe
The Wolves took advantage of a lot of opportunities at the free throw line. Minnesota finished 43-of-53 from the stripe in the game, while Toronto was 24-of-32 from the line.
