Plenty of memorable moments from the weekend that was, so naturally picking a Monday video clip to pass along wasn’t easy.
So instead of making the tough choice, we did what any reasonable and responsible individuals would do; we cheated.
Thanks to that, we don’t give you one video clip, we give you four from a mass of memorable hockey that was delivered this weekend.
See? Us cheating really benefits you. You’re welcome.
The first spectacular stop of the weekend comes from Panthers goalie Tim Thomas, who sprawled across his entire net to make one in a series of three impressive saves.
The only reason it isn’t the runaway winner for save of the weekend, or the year for that matter, is because Chicago goalie Corey Crawford stopped a Montreal shot with his leg while on his back.
OK, OK, those were good, but there is a third entry on the weekend that may be better than them both, coming from U.S. national team and Buffalo goalie Ryan Miller.
If saves aren’t your thing, perhaps jarring blows to the head will tickle your fancy.
That was Calgary’s Brian Mcgrattan sending Pittsburgh’s Deryk Engelland to the ice with a short right.
Four videos for the price of one, truly a happy Monday for us all.
