Just a day before the Minnesota House and Senate approved funding for a new football stadium in downtown Minneapolis, the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome was named the worst stadium in the entire country by Time Magazine. It said the “ailing, collapse-prone Metrodome in Minneapolis is long overdue for a replacement.”
This might be especially true after the roof collapsed under a snowstorm in 2010. Here’s that reminder:
