37-year-old Dirk Nowitzki led the Dallas Mavericks to a victory over the Timberwolves at Target Center Sunday evening, extending Minnesota’s losing streak to six games.
Nowitzki was the high scorer for the Mavs with 29 points. As the Associated Press notes, he made key plays in the game’s final minutes, converting a three-point play and tracking down a loose ball.

The Timberwolves were led in scoring by Andrew Wiggins with 21 and Shabazz Muhammad with 16. Ricky Rubio had eight assists and seven rebounds to go along with 12 points.
