The Wolves threw up enough bricks build a mansion Wednesday night as they were pummeled in Utah, 106-84. Minnesota shot just 34-percent overall and connected on just 2-of-17 three point attempts.
Another poor shooting night plagued Wolves’ star Kevin Love. He finished with a double-double (13 points, 10 rebounds) on 4-of-14 shooting.
The most telling stats of the night were fast break points and points in the paint. Utah outscored the Wolves 56-to-36 in the paint and 25-to-8 on fast breaks.
Ricky Rubio didn’t play because of back spasms, and he won’t play Thursday night when they play the Denver Nuggets.
