The Minnesota Timberwolves snapped their three-game losing streak by blowing out the Utah Jazz 98-72 on Saturday night, at Target Center.
It was a big win for the Wolves who were beaten in Toronto on Friday.
The Wolves (19-21) held the Jazz (14-28) to nine points in the second quarter and a total of 23 points in the entire first half as they ran off with the victory.
The Jazz trailed by as many as 36 points at one point.
Nikola Pekovic and Kevin Love each had double-doubles in the game. Pekovic scored 27 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. Love scored 18 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.
Kevin Martin had 20 points and Ricky Rubio rebounded and played well for the Wolves. He finished with six points, but also had nine assists and eight rebounds in the victory.
The Jazz shot just 29 percent from the floor in the game, and they were also just 7 of 25 from behind the three-point line.
Alec Burks had 18 points in the game, for the Jazz.
The Timberwolves will play the Jazz again on Tuesday in Salt Lake City, Utah.
