Has someone checked on Trae Young this morning after the devastating injuries he suffered against the Timberwolves Wednesday night?
Wait what … he’s not injured? How can that be after this brutal assault?

As you can clearly see, Nickeil Alexander-Walker inflicted horrific damage as he passed-by Young, sending a vicious gust of air in his direction.
“Oh that’s crazy,” said Wolves analyst Jim Peterson, not holding back. “Trae Young’s a flopper … he’s a stop-short guy, who’s a flopper.”
The merciless Timberwolves continued with this “Et tu, Brute?” attack from Jaden McDaniels, who presumably knifed Young in the back in Shakespearian fashion judging by the Hawks’ point guard’s reaction.

There was another one in the first half you can see here too, albeit with grainy quality.
There needs to be a formal complaint from the Timberwolves about this… https://t.co/K9RDanhnMu pic.twitter.com/QFoRYIRKAO

All the more frustrating for Wolves fans observing Young’s exaggerations was the referees falling for it.
Fortunately the Timberwolves were able to get across the line 125-124 thanks to two late free-throws from Karl-Anthony Towns.
And yet, some of the national coverage of the game has focused on how it was the Hawks who were screwed by the refs by not calling a foul on Taurean Prince on Saddiq Bey on the last play of the game.

What’s more, the referees admitted they should have given the foul on Bey, but apparently no mention of the erroneous fouls they gave against the Wolves for being in proximity to the flopper-in-chief.
Oh it gets better. Here’s what Trae Young had to say about that on Instagram: “This goes back to what I said at the beginning of the year, refs should be held more accountable ($, suspensions, etc.) just like us. They shouldn’t just get ‘We missed it’ passes.”
Irony is dead.
