The game with the Hurricanes is a part of the team’s annual fan celebration; while also recognizing the NHL arriving to Minnesota 50 seasons ago.
A limited number of the jerseys will be given away to randomly selected fans during the game. The remaining ones will be auctioned off to benefit the Minnesota Wild Foundation and the Minnesota NHL Alumni Association.
The Hockey Lodge (the Wild’s official team store) said locations will have limited inventory of the jerseys for purchase.
Former North Stars goalie Carl Wetzel will also conduct the “Let’s Play Hockey” call prior to puck drop.
