Not only have the Twins been winning at the Major League level, but their minor league teams have been succesful too.
Baseball America released their final standings from the minor league season, and the Twins organizations had the second best winning percentage at .581 in 2017.
Both the Chatnooga Lookouts (Double-A affiliate) and the Elizabethton Twins (Rookie Level affiliate) won their respective leagues.
Only the New York Yankees organizations posted a higher winning percentage – because of course they did – than the Twins.
It’s the fifth season in a row Minnesota’s affiliates have finished in the top six in terms of winning percentage.

The Twins have seen rookies contribute to their turnaround campaign this season, primarily out of the bullpen. Both Trevor Hildenburger and Alan Busenitz have been phenomenal in their first season of big league play.
Meanwhile, such everyday players like Max Kepler, Eddie Rosario, Byron Buxton and Jorge Polanco – who all were drafted, signed and developed by the Twins – have also made significant strides in 2017.
And their 2017 draft class – led by top pick Rocye Lewis – put up impressive numbers in their first taste of professional league play.
