
The Timberwolves will be picking 11th in the NBA Draft next month following the results of the NBA Draft lottery on Tuesday.
Entering the draft, the Wolves had the 10th best odds in the lottery, with a 13.9 percent chance of moving up into the top four of the draft, and a 3 percent of landing the top pick.
But, you know, Minnesota sports fans can’t have nice things.
The Wolves will draft 11th overall in the 2019 NBA Draft. This was the second-most likely outcome of tonight’s lottery with an 18.9% chance of occurring.

Gersson Rosas was on hand to represent the Wolves at the lottery.
The Los Angeles Lakers, who were one spot behind the Wolves of landing the top pick, vaulted from the 11th-best odds to the fourth overall selection.
The New Orleans Pelicans won the draft lottery who entered the evening with the seventh-best odds of winning the draft, with just a 6 percent chance of winning.
Last year, the the Wolves selected Josh Okogie with the 20th overall selection.
The Wolves haven’t selected in the top five since taking Kris Dunn in the 2016 NBA Draft.
This year’s NBA Draft will take place on June 20 in New York City.
