15 days of practice and gone. The Vikings wrapped up training camp in Mankato on Wednesday afternoon. Afterwards players took time to sign autographs for the fans.
Eric Perkins reported on his sports cast that Adrian Peterson took time to sign every single autograph.
As for practice, the wide receivers stole the spotlight, according to Vikings.com.
KFAN’s A.j. Mansour noted that rookie Cordarrelle Patterson hauled in a 90-yard touchdown.
Adrian Peterson will play in the preseason … we just don’t know when.
“Between this week and next week would be the time we’re going to play him, if we play him in the preseason,” head coach Leslie Frazier told the Star Tribune. “We want to do something in these next couple of weeks.”
Fullback Jerome Felton tells the Pioneer Press that Peterson’s “best football” is ahead of him.
Felton missed the afternoon practice and will likely miss the rest of the preseason after undergoing an emergency appendectomy.
