The Dallas Stars snapped the Wild’s two-game winning streak by blasting them in “Big D” by a final score of 4-1. Niklas Backstrom had been fantastic in his last two starts, but was pulled early in the second period after allowing three goals on 14 shots.
Matt Hackett replaced Backstrom and stopped all ten shots he faced. Devin Setoguchi scored the Wild’s only goal, his 15th of the season.
