Andrew Rohde announced weeks ago that he had entered the transfer portal after leading the University of St. Thomas to an outstanding finish in the Summit League in the university’s second year as a D1 program.
On Tuesday, Rohde announced that he is committed to the University of Virginia, where he will have a chance to become a household name in the ACC under head coach Tony Bennett.

Rohde, who averaged 17.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.6 assists this season as a freshman, visited Creighton last week before visiting Virginia over the weekend.
St. Thomas, based in St. Paul, Minnesota, finished fourth in the Summit League before marching through the conference tournament and taking Oral Roberts to the wire in the semifinals. Oral Roberts then smoked North Dakota State for a trip to the NCAA tournament, where they lost to Duke in the first round.
