Tropicana Field hates Miguel Sano.
For the second time in his young career, Sano was robbed of a homer by something hanging from the roof at the home ballpark of the Tampa Bay Rays.
The latest happened in the seventh inning Friday night as Sano launched a ball that would’ve broke a 3-3 tie, only to see his would-be homer hit a speaker hanging from the roof. The ball dropped straight down and into the glove of shortstop Willy Adames for an out.
Don’t believe it? See for yourself.

More unbelievable is that it’s the second time Sano has been robbed by the roof in Tampa. In 2015, Sano hit a moonshot that would’ve been long gone for a homer, but instead the ball hit the catwalk in center field and dropped down for an ordinary single.
The Twins still won Friday night thanks to Eddie Rosario’s two-out, two-run single in the ninth inning to give Minnesota a 5-3 lead.
