Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has returned to Minnesota after spending a day away from the Vikings while attending to a family matter in Sioux Falls that has been described as “tragic.”
Peterson was spotted in South Dakota yesterday at a bar and grill, and details have emerged today that suggest the situation is more serious than originally reported.

Local media outlets, citing a tabloid report from TMZ, report that Adrian Peterson’s son was assaulted and has severe head injuries.
