The Minnesota Wild will have a busy Thanksgiving weekend, but it looks like they could still be without a couple of their key players for the home stand.
According to The Hockey Writers, Wild defenseman Marco Scandella and forward Zach Parise will be out for the weekend.
Scandella has missed several games while dealing with a personal matter and an injury that followed, while Parise has missed time with a strained MCL.

Through 15 games this season, Scandella has been one of the Wild’s best defenders. He has three goals and three assists this season, after setting career-highs in goals (11) and points (23) last season.
It was hoped originally that Parise would return in time for Wednesday night’s game against Vancouver, but after skating on Saturday Praise did not practice on Monday.
“He clearly wasn’t feeling 100 percent [Saturday], so we’ll take things slowly,” Yeo said Monday. ” [Tuesday] he’ll skate with Andy [Ness] again and see where he’s at.”
Parise has seven goals in 12 games. He’s missed the last seven games after taking a hit to the knee on Nov. 5. According to NHL.com, the original prognosis called for Parise to miss about a month.
