It was a banner day for Timberwolves guard Ricky Rubio and his attempt to come back from knee surgery.
Rubio took part Sunday in his first practice in nine months, according to the Associated Press.
While there’s still no timetable for his return to the Wolves lineup, Rubio says his knee felt “pretty good,” but he wants it to feel “perfect” before playing in a game.

Rubio tore the anterior cruciate ligament and lateral collateral ligament in his knee last March.
He was cleared to resume full-contact practices last week.
