Wolves guard Ricky Rubio has apologized to Terry Porter for his comments about playing time during a loss to the Nets earlier this week.
“I apologized to him because it came out like I was saying something against him, and I never went against him,” Rubio told the media. “It was something against me, by myself, because I was frustrated with me because I didn’t play. It was something that didn’t have to be against him or the team.”
J.J. Barea stayed in the game when Rubio wanted to go in. Barea says he has no problem with Rubio because he’s a “competitor.”
