Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman has never been afraid to speak his mind.
Tuesday afternoon he used his press conference to rip the NFL over continuing to schedule Thursday night football games.
“Poopfest. It’s terrible,” Sherman said to reporters Tuesday. “We got home like 1 o’clock in the morning, something like that on Monday and then you’ve got to play again. Congratulations, NFL, you did it again. But they’ve been doing it all season, so I guess we’re the last ones to get the middle finger.”
Sherman and his Seahawks teammates are coming off a difficult 38-10 loss to the Green Bay Packers Sunday afternoon at Lambeau Field.
He added that his body will only be about 50-to-60 percent recovered when the Seahawks host the Rams.
