Apple Valley’s Tyus Jones, former Robbinsdale Cooper and current Findlay Prep star Rashad Vaughn, and DeLaSalle’s Reid Travis are the clear cut top three prep basketball players in the class of 2014 in Minnesota.
The hype has been massive surrounding all three, and it will only get crazier as the basketball season gets closer.
This time of year is huge for AAU ball, and one of the biggest national tournaments in the country is the Peach Jam, held annually in South Carolina.
Jones, playing for Howard Pulley, is there, showing his impressive offensive ability.
Tyus Jones totaled 7 of 16fg, 8 of 9 ft, hit 3 treys, scored 25 points with Izzo, Calipari, Drew, Capel, Ben Johnson observing. #PEACHJAM

Playing alongside Jones is Travis, who also put up big numbers in game one. Here’s the box score for Pulley, who went down to Expressions 73-71.
Reid Travis made 6 of 9 FG, 8 of 12ft, for 20 points. Abdul Malik Abu had 8pts but frontcourt mate Alex Brennan scored 10pt #PEACHJAM

Drawing the highest praise, however, is Vaughn, who is at the Reebok Classic Breakout. CBS Sports Jon Rothstein has fallen in love with Vaughn’s ability.
Rashad Vaughn has Ben McLemore like ability. Will be one of the best players in the country as a freshman. 15-18 PPG in 2014-15.
