It appears that one of the most popular members of the Minnesota Vikings offensive line is on the trading block.
According to Tom Pelissero of the USA Today, as well as the Star Tribune, the Vikings are trying to trade veteran center John Sullivan.

Sullivan played in the Vikings’ first two preseason contests, but did not play on Sunday when the team opened U.S. Bank Stadium.
Sullivan has been competing with Joe Berger for the starting job throughout camp. Berger filled in for Sullivan last season when he missed the entire year after undergoing multiple back surgeries.
According to ESPN’s Ben Goessling, Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said they gave Sullivan the day off because they needed to get a longer look at Berger in the competition between the two.
Berger also has a few other things working for him. He’s played for Vikings offensive line coach Tony Sparano, and has a lower price tag.
OverTheCap.com projects the Vikings could save nearly $5.1 million in salary cap space if they deal the 31-year-old Sullivan. He has two years remaining on his contract.
The Vikings have to trim their roster to 75 players by Tuesday afternoon.
