It looks like Cole Aldrich is coming home to Minnesota.
ESPN reports the 27-year-old free agent has committed to sign with the Timberwolves, and will do so on July 7. (The date when the league moratorium on signings and trades is lifted.)
The deal is reportedly worth $22 million.

CBS Sports says Aldrich, who is from Bloomington, will add “another solid frontcourt depth option for the Timberwolves.”
Last season, Aldrich averaged 5.5 points and 4.8 rebounds in 60 games with the Los Angeles Clippers.
Aldrich declined a $1.2 million player option with the Clippers last month, Bleacher Report says.
