Multiple reports say the Minnesota Wild have made a shakeup to its coaching staff by saying so long to assistant coaches Rick Wilson and Darryl Sydor.
The Pioneer Press and Star Tribune are reporting that Darby Hendrickson will remain an assistant under new head coach Bruce Boudreau, as will goalie coach Bob Mason. Andrew Brunette, who was in charge of the power play last season, will move into a front office position.
The Pioneer Press adds that Boudreau prefers just two assistants on the bench with him, so it’s yet to be seen if the Wild will add one or two coaches to replace Wilson and Sydor.
