Minneapolis and University of Minnesota police weren’t the only ones controlling crowds after the Gophers lost NCAA Frozen Four championship to Union Saturday night.
FOX 9 reporter Jonathan Choe, who was on the scene reporting, also had to deal with an unruly crowd as rowdy bystanders got in his face, touched him and yelled things while he was on air.

He showed a lot of composure during his report – only referring to the disorderly group as “idiots” once. A YouTube user uploaded this compilation of Choe’s reports from Saturday night: USA Today and several other blogs also reported on Choe’s coverage of the post-game crowds.

Police arrested 19 people and said there were two known arson incidents and an undetermined amount of property damage. Officials added that no officers were injured. FOX 9 reports four people were taken to jail.
