With the Wild’s season coming to an end last weekend, general manager Paul Fenton has relieved three front office members of their duties, according to Michael Russo of The Athletic.
The most notable being Andrew Brunette and Shep Harder.
Brunette, who’s been on the Wild’s staff since 2013, was Minnesota’s director of player personnel. He also held other positions such as assistant coach, assistant general manager and hockey operations advisor.
During his playing career, Brunette played in 489 career games with the Wild and is most known for his Game 7 overtime goal against the Colorado Avalanche in 2003.
Harder has been with the organization for years and was actually hired by the Wild’s first GM Doug Risebrough. He rose from the ranks as an intern, to director of hockey administration and then assistant general manager.
Russo also notes that Andrew C. Thomas, who worked in the hockey operations department, specifically in analytics, was also let go.
Head coach Bruce Boudreau is expected back for his fourth season as head coach, Russo reports. Both Boudreau and Fenton will meet with the media on Tuesday for a season-ending press conference.

In three seasons as Wild head coach, Boudreau owns a record of 131-87-28.
The 2018-19 season did not go as planned as the Wild missed the playoffs for the first time since 2012.
After a flurry of trades this season, Wild owner Craig Leipold vowed the team “will make some noise this summer” now that they have more cap space to work with.
