One story about the Minnesota Wild you should know about on an otherwise slow NHL Thursday.
The Minnesota Wild are close to coming to terms with former Nashville Predators defenseman Jonathon Blum, according to the Star Tribune.
Per the report, Blum, an unrestricted free-agent, could sign a two-way contract with the Wild as soon as Friday.
Blum could make the team out of training camp, or be the first blue liner called up from the Iowa Wild — Minnesota’s AHL affiliate.
Blum scored has seven goals and 15 assists in 91 career NHL games.
