Terry Ryan would not confirm ESPN report Jason Bartlett is returning, but possible platoon w/Florimon makes sense: http://t.co/irDTw2Jblu

Bartlett, now 34-years-old, will likely have a chance to compete for the starting shortstop job with Pedro Florimon and Eduardo Escobar, according to the Star Tribune.
Aaron Gleeman of NBC Sports writes that Bartlett sat out the entire 2012 season because of injuries, so there’s no telling how much he has left in the tank.
Bartlett hit .272 in four seasons with the Twins (2004-2007). He’s been in Tampa Bay and San Diego the last five years.
