The Baltimore Ravens rid themselves of Bryant McKinnie by trading the former Pro Bowl left tackle to the Miami Dolphins on Monday.

McKinnie, who started at left tackle for the Super Bowl champion Ravens in 2012, hasn’t played since Baltimore traded for Eugene Monroe.
This season has been another in which McKinnie hasn’t been able to manage his weight. A recent report suggested he tipped the scales at close to 360 pounds. He was cut from the Vikings before the start of the 2011 season after reportedly weighing in at close to 400 pounds.
McKinnie now returns to the city where he played his college football (University of Miami), and the city in which he was arrested for aggravated battery outside a nightclub in 2008.
