Bryant McKinnie might be employed by a new team sooner than later.
The Baltimore Sun is reporting that McKinnie could be headed for the trading block once the Ravens finalize a deal to bring in their new starting left tackle, Eugene Monroe.
McKinnie isn’t playing because he hasn’t met his goal weight of 346 pounds. He set the goal before the season began, but he currently tips the scales at 355 to 357 pounds, per the report.
If the Ravens can’t trade him, he’ll likely serve as the backup to Monroe.
McKinnie fluctuating weight has gotten him in trouble before. He reportedly weighed nearly 400 pounds before being cut by the Vikings during training camp in 2011.
