Paul George will miss Friday’s play-in, do-or-die game between the Los Angeles Clippers and New Orleans Pelicans Friday night, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, who says George has entered the NBA’s health and safety protocol after testing positive for COVID-19.
The situation with George is worth monitoring because he just played the Timberwolves on Tuesday night, scoring 34 points in 41 minutes. As of Friday, the Timberwolves are good to go for Saturday’s series opener against the Grizzlies.
