The Wild have traded forward Charlie Coyle to the Boston Bruins.
Coyle is headed to the Boston in exchange for Ryan Donato and a conditional fifth-round pick, which will become the 2019 fourth-round pick of the New York Rangers if the Bruins advance to the second round of this year’s playoffs, according to Marisa Ingemi of the Boston Herald.

Donato, 22, was a second-round pick by the Bruins in 2014. He has 9 points (six goals, three assists) in 34 games this season with the Bruins.
Minnesota parted ways with Nino Niederreiter last month, who’s thriving in Carolina.
Fenton received the green light from ownership last week to start making trades.
In 60 games this season, Coyle has 28 points, 10 goals and 18 assists. He’s spent his entire seven-year career in Minnesota.
Earlier this year, the Boston Bruins were interested in Coyle’s services. Coyle is also a native of Massachusetts.
There’s still five days before the Feb. 25 trade deadline, and with the Wild now in last place in the Central Division and out of the playoff picture by a point, Fenton could make the decision to blow things up even more.
