It’s NBA Draft week and the Ricky Rubio rumors are already starting to fly.
#Mavs have had in-house talks about the trade availability of #Timberwolves PG Ricky Rubio – and about drafting PG Frank Ntilikina, too.

According to 105.3 The Fan’s Mike Fisher in Dallas, the Mavericks “have had in-house talks about the trade availability” of Rubio. Fisher does not offer up any hypothetical trades.
The Mavericks have a glaring hole at point guard going into what could be Dirk Nowitzki’s final season. Right now, the top point guards on the roster are J.J. Barea and Yogi Ferrell, although Seth Curry can play some point guard, too. The rest of the starting five is pretty solid with Wes Matthews, Harrison Barnes, Nowitzki and Nerlens Noel.
Rubio has been linked to the New York Knicks going back to February’s trade deadline, and reports this spring suggest the Knicks and Wolves are still interested in a potential deal.
Minnesota owns the No. 7 pick in Thursday’s draft.
