Kyrie Irving – for whatever reason – doesn’t want to play with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavilers anymore and requested to be traded on Friday, according to Brian Windhorst of ESPN.com.
Irving has expressed four teams he’s willing to play for, the San Antonio Spurs, New York Knicks, Miami Heat and… the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The move would take be tough to pull off and would probably involve Minnesota parting ways with Andrew Wiggins – and the Wolves up are up against the salary cap.
So they’d have to figure out a way to take Irving’s contract, which has a cap hit of $18 million for next season.
The 25-year-old point guard is one of the best players in the league. Last season, he averaged 25 points per game while shooting 47 percent from the floor.
Minnesota signed Jeff Teague this month to be the team’s starting point guard for next season. Teague can’t be traded until at least mid-December.
