The Wild took a roster filled with AHL players to Columbus on won in shootout fashion Monday night.
Jason Zucker netted the only goal during the shootout to give the Wild the win, 2-1.
Josh Harding was a perfect 3-for-3 in the shootout and he stopped 20 shots in the game for the win.
The Wild’s lone goal in regulation came off the stick of Keith Ballard, who fired a puck from the slot over of Columbus goalie Sergei Bobrovsky’s shoulder.
Minnesota’s defense showed up and blocked a preseason best 19 shots.
The preseason schedule wraps up with a home game against the Blues Wednesday and a road game at St. Louis on Friday.
Tuesday is a big cut day for the Wild.
