Detroit Pistons 96
Minnesota Timberwolves 86
The Timberwolves remained winless at home, falling to the Detroit Pistons 96-86 at Target Center Friday night.
1. Pistons second half surge
After the Wolves controlled the game for most of the first half, things changed right away in the second. The Pistons outscored Minnesota 58-42 in the second half, while picking up the 10 point win.
2. Double-double trouble
Minnesota struggled to handle Andre Drummond inside. He was the one post player in the NBA who came into Friday night’s games with more double-doubles than Karl-Anthony Towns.
Drummond collected another one with 21 points and 11 rebounds, but he wasn’t alone as Marcus Morris also posted a double-double. Morris had 16 points and 11 boards.
3. Dunk city for Wiggins

Andrew Wiggins finished with 21 points for the Wolves. He didn’t have his best night shooting, but he was able to get to the rim for a couple of emphatic dunks.
