No word on when the above picture was taken, but on Sunday John Sharkman tweeted a photo of Twins pitcher Phil Hughes’ left knee.
It’s really bruised and you can see the stitching from the baseball imprinted on his leg after he was hit by a 106 mph line drive last week.
Unfortunately, the ball broke a bone above his knee and he’s going to miss 6-8 weeks.
