Peterson named Sporting News NFL comeback player for 2013

It was no contest from the editors of the Sporting News.

Adrian Peterson is their NFL Comeback Player of the Year, as the Vikings running back was the TSN’s clear choice over Denver quarterback Peyton Manning.

As TSN put it: “Because of Peterson, the Vikings had a season to remember.”

Up next, NFL awards handed out by the Associated Press. Those will be doled out the night before the Super Bowl.
