Minnesota Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson told the Denver Post, that he will be the National Football League’s Most Valuable Player. “I’m going to win it. I will get it,” Peterson said Saturday at the Pro Bowl in Hawaii.
Last week, Peterson said he credits genetics for his miraculous recovery after blowing out his knee in December 2011.
The editors of the Sporting News picked Peterson as their NFL Comeback Player of the Year over Denver quarterback Peyton Manning.
Results of the MVP voting will be announced the night before the Super Bowl.
