Vikings star receiver Percy Harvin has gone from “doubtful” to “out” in the team’s game Sunday against the Chicago Bears, the Pioneer Press reported.
Harvin, who hasn’t made it through a full practice since he sprained his left ankle against the Seattle Seahawks Nov. 4, wasn’t able to put much weight on it in his brief appearance at Vikings practice Friday, coach Leslie Frazier said.
Harvin did not make the trip with the team to Chicago.
The Bears, meanwhile, got good news Saturday as starting quarterback Jay Cutler — who suffered a concussion two weeks back — was cleared to play in Sunday’s game.
The Vikings haven’t won a game as Solider Field in Chicago since 2007.
Game time Sunday is at noon.
