Minnesota Wild forward Zach Parise will skate with teammates on Saturday for the first time since he sprained his MCL Nov. 5.
The Pioneer Press reports that Parise will not play Saturday against Nashville, but there’s a chance he could be ready for Minnesota’s game against Vancouver Wednesday.
Wild coach Mike Yeo told reporters Friday that Parise hasn’t yet been cleared for contact, but the Star Tribune reports Parise will visit with doctors on Saturday.

If all goes well he could participate in drills during Monday’s practice, which means he could be on the ice when the Wild host Nashville.
“Generally, when a player is cleared for practice and cleared for contact, that means he’s a potential player for our lineup,” Yeo told reporters Friday.
Good news on Zucker
The Wild did get some good news on Jason Zucker. He had to be helped off the ice after being slashed in the back of the leg as time was running out against the Bruins Thursday night.

Yeo said that Zucker, who took Friday off from practice, will be back in the lineup on Saturday.
