On a frenetic first day of free agency, the Vikings could be looking across the border to find a running back alternative to Adrian Peterson.
The agency representing Green Bay Packers RB Eddie Lacy have confirmed the Vikings are one of three teams he will meet over the next four days.

Lacy has struggled with injuries, weight issues and loss of form in the past two seasons.
But he exploded out of the blocks with the Packers in 2013 and 14, registering consecutive 1,100-yard-plus rushing seasons and catching for more than 400 yards in 2014 alone.
NFL reporter Ian Rapoport says that the free agent is interesting a number of teams. That said, he’s only meeting with the Vikings and Seahawks, and will also be speaking with the Packers about a possible new deal.
