Packers cornerback Davon House got stuck in enemy territory on Monday and needed a ride to Green Bay.
Long story short, House couldn’t find a flight to Green Bay so he flew into Minneapolis at 11 p.m. and found himself stuck because he couldn’t get a rental car.
“Just found out that Minnesota might be out of cars,” House tweeted.
Naturally, a Packers fan jumped at the chance to say Minnesota has the same number of rental cars as they do Super Bowls. “Correct,” House responded in cheap-shot fashion, albeit extremely funny.

Instead of learning what life is like in a civilized city, House begged his Twitter followers for a ride back to the beer garden, or wherever he lives in Green Bay.
Any packer fans in Minnesota want to take a trip to Green Bay 😎 maybe I can hitch hike a ride 👍

That’s when two brothers from western Wisconsin, per ESPN, offered to get him home, even promising not to chop him into pieces.
@DavonHouse I'll get you to Green Bay man. In one piece even! I'm a half hour from MSP, would be happy to help.

Good enough for House. He hitched a ride and was super generous in the process, paying for gas and giving the brothers a tour of Lambeau Field at 3:30 in the morning.
“It would’ve been cool just to get a picture with him there, but he was like, ‘Follow me to the stadium and I’ll sign some stuff for you,'” Chad Johnson told ESPN. “We told him he didn’t need to do that, and he insisted. He has OTAs at 7:30, and here he is at 3:30 in the morning doing this. So he brought us over there, we got to go in the locker room. He signed some shoes and some gloves and let us take pictures with the Super Bowl trophies.”
Big props to House for being a stand-up guy, despite his super accurate Super Bowl cheap shot.
