That didn’t last long.
After just one game the Wild sent forwards Jason Zucker and Carson McMillan back to their AHL affiliate in Iowa, as reported by the Star Tribune.
Michael Russo speculated in his blog after last night’s 3-2 loss to Nashville that Zucker played poorly enough that he may have earned a trip back to the minors. McMillan didn’t dress for the game. He was up on an emergency basis.
The Wild then called up forward Stephane Veilleux to bolster the forward position. Veilleux played in 21 games for the Wild last season.
